Q: ElectionWebReports Statistics generates
a report about activity on my Web server. Where does it get the information?
A: ElectionWebReports Statistics relies on the small JavaScript that
gathers information from all visitors on your site. This JavaScript
sends data to our servers, where it is analyzed and stored in a database.
Reports are created by querying the data stored in this database.
Q: When are my reports available for viewing?
A: The reports should be available within minutes of adding our
code to your Web pages, and from that point on are available 24
hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Regularly, we perform
maintenance tasks on our servers. During these periods statistics
are not available, however, the service still collects data from
your site.
Q: I have multiple virtual domains. Can
I create reports for each domain?
A: Yes. You can create separate sites for each of your virtual domains,
and report independently on them. Note: if you use ElectionWebReports
Statistics to track traffic for separate businesses, ElectionWebReports
Statistics License Agreement and Terms of Service requires that
you create separate accounts for each business.
Q: What if I want others to see my reports?
A: No problem! User Management allows you to add multiple users
who can view your report just by typing in their e-mail addresses
and names.
Q: Are ElectionWebReports Statistics accurate?
A: ElectionWebReports Statistics are based on a modification of traditional
log-file analysis, such as Analog, http-analyze etc. While not all
browsers provide each piece of information that we report on (2.x
and 3.x browsers in particular), this service is able to track users
thorough Proxy Servers (such as AOL), thereby increasing accuracy
when reporting on user information.
Q: How many pages can I report on per site?
A: As many as you want! There are no limitations placed on you at
all. |
